Sloss City Music Festival brought Birmingham back into festival mode with a full night of EDM at the historic Sloss Furnaces, one of the city’s most iconic venues. Held September 18, 2026, the event turned the industrial landmark into a massive dance floor with a main stage, a local stage, and a lineup led by Henry Fong, who closed out the night with the kind of set that kept the crowd moving until the very end.
As title sponsor and exclusive energy drink, LICK showed up everywhere guests looked, from the main stage branding to the 40-foot bright orange Traveling LICK container making a statement before people even made it through the gates.
This was only the second-ever stop for the Traveling LICK container, and Sloss City proved exactly why it was built. The LICK models were in full effect, sampling ice-cold cans straight from the container while guests tried different flavors and picked their own 7.5oz can to take with them. Festivalgoers also got loaded up with LICK merch, including LED light sticks that lit up the crowd, Misbehave Responsibly rave fans that quickly became part of the dance floor, bandanas, and glow-in-the-dark temporary tattoos.
During the main stage sets, the team brought cooler backpacks and boxes of LED sticks directly to the rail riders so fans could keep raging without losing their spot. By the end of the night, the crowd was dancing under the lights, fans were clacking, cans were cold, and Sloss City had fully gotten LICKED.
